    Default Cervical length 30-31weeks

Does anyone have any knowledge of length in 3rd trimester?
I had a scan yesterday and it came back as 33mm.
I can't seem to find a straight answer from dr google. But from what I can work out its within range but I may around 18% ish effaced??
    Any info would be helpful

I was 25mm at 30 weeks which they considered high risk and was put on progesterone pessaries and mild bed rest , had weekly scans and it never got any worse ( had DS at 38+5)

According to my Ob - 25 is the magic number you don't want to go below. I went from 33 to 23 in 3 weeks when I was 30 weeks with the twins. Had to go on bed rest and use the pessaries until I was 37 weeks. After that I could so more because they wouldn't stop labor after that. My twins came at 37w3d.

Ok thanks. They say its satisfactory atm. 33mm at 30w4d.
So hopefully it won't change too dramatically in the next 4 weeks or so
They also said that after about now cervical length from us is inaccurate.
Can they tell by an internal exam? No one has looked yet so far because it's not standard protocol.

Is there a reason you are concerned about it?

Yup. The lovely internal ultrasound was standard with all my scans after 20 weeks with the twins to check cervical length.

Ok so maybe I will ask for internal us at 36w. I'm not really worried, I just panicked thinking that if it went down really quickly in the next 3 weeks or so then she may be just a little bit too early.
I am just being silly and googling too much. Lol

Why are you even having your cervical length measured?

It's routine to measure cervical length I thought, that's how they picked up that mine was short
