Default DTD 5 days before ovulation, pregnant???

So, I know in theory it's possible to fall pregnant from DTD 5 days per O. But in reality? Has it happened to anyone here?

Not me, I'd say it'd be pretty unlikely for the spermies to live that long (but not impossible)

Thats what I'm thinking, unlikely, but not impossible. Although im
getting ovulation pains a day early now! I think 4 days would be much more probable than 5.

We DTD 5 days before with no luck, next cycle 4 days before and bubba boy is due in 8 weeks. they do say 5 is possible but the chances are very slim.

    I think I must've gone pretty close.

Me & DH DTD twice on the day after my period finished on CD5 and somehow I managed to fall pregnant. I have a short cycle, usually 24-26 days, so my ovulation has to be earlier than day 14 but I think it must have been cutting it so fine and couldn't believe I was UTD!

It wouldn't be a terrible thing if I was pregnant. We have a 21m boy, we ate going to start ttc after he turns 2. I just wanted to attempt a girl gender sway.

The only time we could have fell pregnant with DD3 was 7 days before ovulation, DD2 would have been 5 ish days before.
