    I bought some basic tees recently from a brand called Betty basics (through the website surfstitch). They were around $7 (on sale) and are nice quality. Surfstitch almost always have codes for a cheaper price also, just google.

    I have found target t shirts good in the past and have some good singlets from there but a few weeks ago I went in trying to find some t shirts and I was not impressed with their piddly range and the shirts were that really grainy looking fabric.

    I live in my Big W t-shirts. They cost $3 and they're loose, comfy and look great paired with skinny jeans or pencil skirts.

    Quality wise they seem ok...probably not country road quality.

    I just got some really good basic singlets from Jeanswest, think they're normally 2 for 20 but they have sales all the time. I've also found the Big W ones to be good but the tshirts I have from Kmart don't last nearly as long.

    I just bought some great basic singlets from target. $12. Scoop neck, medium sleeves. Long and stretchy! I love these. Going back to get some more.
