I need to replace the basics in my wardrobe. Singlets and t shirts mainly. Except all the ones I've come across are see through, ill fitting (eg tight across my chest, loose on my ribs and then tight on my hips) or not long enough. I'm mainly after just black and white, as I usually layer them under other tops.
Any suggestions where I can buy good quality but not too expensive singlets (both thick and thin straps) and t shirts?
Thanks![]()

It does depend a bit on the seasons but country road and witchery do good basics

Not sure bout tee shirts but I love kmarts basic singlets. Nice and long and stretchy thin and thick straps. They are about $6 too! Bargain

K mart have some great basic singlets in their underwear section. I think they are supposed to be shape wear but they are just plain stretchy fitted singlets with thick straps. You get 2 for $10.

My mum bought me a couple of nice plain lycra tanks from Target recently. Good quality fabric, and the straps are thick enough to cover the bra strap.
I used to buy a lot of basic singlets from Cotton On - might be worth a look?

Kmart absolutely. Singlets from 5 bucks and even the stuff that isn't 'basics' is well priced
