Hi yas
We're in QLD so my son will be starting his first day of Prep on Tuesday. I've got mixed emotions about it. Happy and proud but also a bit anxious and sad. I know he definitely is ready for school and I'm pretty certain he will cope fine but of course, being my first and only child, I worry. Also, I can't believe how quickly 5 years has already passed!
We've got all his things ready to go, so at least that is done. So now it's just waiting for the day to come. Luckily we've got a day out tomorrow so I don't sit around thinking about it anymore than I should.
I will definitely be looking forward to picking him up on Tuesday afternoon and hearing about his day

So many sad mummas!
I'm pumped, can't wait til Thursday- definitely more excited than my boys... But I know they will love school so that could be a big reason!

I wonder if I feel so sad as DS is my one and only? I know he'll enjoy school but I just feel sad that he's growing up so fast and I'm going to miss him.

Yep my girl is starting tomorrow. It's all starting to sink in now, I'm not ready for her to go I just love having her at home with me. It just seems like the start of something huge, she isn't my baby anymore.

My DD starts next monday. I have mixed feelings about it. I'm looking forward to spending one on one time with DS (8 months) and being able to nap when he has a bad night of sleeep. DD is driving me mental at home as she is so bored.
BUT it's a bit scary. DD is a bit anxious about it. She was super excited after transition last year but in the last cpuple of weeks has some fears. The containers we got her for her lunch box are too hard for her to open so she got so upset and stressed even though we said it's ok we will buy different ones. Little things like that are making her anxious.
