Was it full when you took it out? I wear modo bodi's overnight on night one with my cup because it gets over full. It's fitted perfectly, just my flow is heavy on night one.
As for sizing...I perservered with a larger cup for months because I had had vaginal births with my children...but it was ill fitting. Went to a smaller one and it fits perfectly. The whole 'having a bigger size because you've had a baby' is not true for everyone, however if you continue to have problems with your cup leaking then I would imagine it's a sizing issue.

I have the same problem with mine I have a juju and because of my shape go the smaller size but on days 2-3 I will empty it hourly and night time 1-2 times plus an overnight pad. Obviously I have a super heavy period and need to do the same if I were using tampons anyway

I only tried mine once at night, not a very heavy flow time, but it leaked the second I stood up. It was like my body shape changed when lying down and it no longer fits.
I had 2 CS births and use a large. I have a very high cervix (impossible for me to reach) so wanted something that wouldn't get lost. I've got great pelvic floor muscles, so it's not like a cup would ever 'fall out" lol!
I don't bother with mine on my heaviest day as the layout of the work toilet makes it impossible to empty it and clean it out there. In the mornings on my heavier days I get some light blood initially but it just seems to be what was on the 'walls' when I inserted it. I insert it in the shower too. When I've actually had it overflow, it was a very distinct feeling and quite a bit of dark blood came out all at once. So very different to the morning spotting.
