I haven't really enjoyed watching this series. I really hate how the other contestants have been treating Mary. It seems like people who have been made fun of and picked on their whole lives have now found someone they can pick on. They all seem to forget the times on the show when they struggled, fell over, wanted to give up.
Also, I hate the temptations. This in no way prepares them for real life. They aren't being tempted by the food they are being tempted by the reward. Real temptation would be if their house was stocked with the foods they enjoyed before they came into the house or if they had to shop for themselves.
Another thing. The contestants are only eating 1000 calories a day. 1000 calories a day is not enough for very over weight people who are doing large amounts of exercise everyday. No wonder some of their contestants gain back their weight, 1000 calories a day is just not sustainable nor healthy.

Pretty sure they're on 1200 calories but I agree not sustainable or healthy

Gee I hope men eat more than 1,200 kcal a day!! This is so low :-O
Even I lose weight on 1,200 kcal a day, without exercising or anything and I'm size 10-12 :-/

When I was doing Michelle bridges program it was 1200 a day. It was a fair amount of food.
