We're looking at getting an odyssey or a Toyota avensis. Anyone have an Avensis?

Kia sorrento. Air vents in 3rd row with cup holders and I drove from Sydney to Melbourne in 1 tank.

Can recommend the Nissan Pathfinder in diesel (old 4x4 design, not new softroader one). We bought one in May last year and have been getting 8L/100km. It was also the only 7 seater in the $50,000 and under range that has side curtain airbags to the back row, which was very important for us as the back row would always be used.

We have a Ford Territory diesel and its great - we used to have the petrols and this was a gas guzzler but in the new one the Diesel has been great - we drive to Adelaide quite a lot with 3 kids and the car fully laden and we get there on one tank for $95. The kids also like the DVD player in the back - its a winner - pretty much get 8 hours of peace and quiet on a long drive up to Adelaide now.
