Congrats wobbler. What are the details? Name? Weight? Length?
I doubt youd you'd be showing enough for others to tell at 12/13weeks Toni? Maybe she's just digging for gossip? I started showing at about 16-18 weeks last time. So excited you're having bub #2!

Then later on you get the opposite. The other day at work a woman looked at my belly in great disgust saying "oh my god you have gone huge, I don't mean to be rude but are you sure you're not having twins?!" Ummmm no, my baby is small and I've only gained 4.3kg so far but thanks!!!

"It could be twins you know. Lots of people have twins fourth time around."
In my head: no, it's not twins, we lost our twins and we fell with them 5th time round, not fourth even though this is the seventh pregnancy.
On the outside: Smile and nod, smile and nod.
"Oh, you're only that far along? You look ready to pop"
In my head: Why thank you. I was already feeling like an elephant today. And yes I should be about to pop if I'd been able to keep our last pregnancy of which I still have all the weight on from.
On the outside: Oh no - long way yet. Ob says he's just sitting out front.

I found people that haven't had kids think your enormous and people that have think your small. I agree smile and nod

People are idiots. Last time I could get told in the same morning that I was huge and tiny.
Same as when River was born. Most people said she was small (she was) but some people said she was huge.

Does anybody else repeatedly hear the penguins from Madagascar in their head every time they get unhelpful comments:

I think you're right Munchkin - he hasn't remembered any of them so far.
How long is an elephant pregnant for?!
DH has decided on a date for his op though which is good. I would hate to accidentally fall pregnant like we once did only to lose it to immune issues again and I can't go on the pill because of the blood clotting disorder and I've had an IUD in the past and could feel it scratching around when I exercised even though it was put in by a specialist.
It does feel good that we will be moving past the baby making stage as it's been over 10 years now since we started TTC. Infertility issues followed by having 3 kids in just over three years, followed by 2 years of mc, and hopefully our rainbow baby.
