    That's wonderful news! Congratulations!!!
Yes we chatted about it a few months ago. I still haven't had an appt but maybe within a few months. It's good to have positive feedback about the clinic. May I ask what FS did you see?

    Hi All,

We are needing to undertake IVF and i have been recommended the fertility centre in Liverpool by a friend. I am wondering if anyone has any recent experience with them they can share? Thanks in advance

I too am after info on the fertility centre liverpool. DH and I went for an app there and really liked it but would like any recent info anyone has. I know of someone who went there and was successful first go (33yrs old) I'm 34 and we have been diagnosed unexplained Infertility. We are also looking at primary in the city but think I would prefer liverpool only from going there and meeting some of the nurses and personally knowing someone who was successful but any feedback would be helpful. Thanx and babydust to all Xo 🌌 🌌

Hi all, I have read quite positive reviews with this clinic. We are embarking on our journey with them in January. Anyone else cycling with them? We were with another clinic who were very expensive and while you had a lot of contact with the FS, the FS was sadly not very good. We are disappointed we thought the more expensive the better the results. These guys are so cheap! Their prices have gone down lower than back in 2015! Would love to chat to other women who have cycled with this clinic as looking for some information on the types of meds they use for stimming and in preparation for transfer. Do they use orpiro and crinone?

    Hi Warratag,
I'm new to the chat scene, but I just saw your post about starting your journey with the fertility centre Liverpool. What's your opinion about them? I did also see other specialists in different clinics (5 ivf cycles with no luck) and we are looking at cheaper options....
Could you please let me know how was your experience? How long did you have to wait to get first appointment. What about medications? Do they really use lower dosage to cut the cost? Thank you.

I'm not cycling with Liverpool, but I was thinking about it and looked into their clinic. Here's what I read on their website (below) about why they are cheap. I don't mind using nurses/doctors on a rotational basis, but they do use lower dosages (which is not ideal for everyone) and won't treat complex cases. I decided on Westmead Fertility Centre as they use high doses and treat complex cases - but are still low cost. They are slightly more expensive than Liverpool, but still affordable. Considering it is your 6th IVF cycle I would suspect your issues may be a bit more complex, or you need a higher dosage? If so, Liverpool may not be the right choice. I'm sure they would be a great clinic for those with less complex issues - so it depends on the individual.
    1. Bulk billing most blood tests and ultrasounds
    2. Providing Fertility Specialists on a rotational basis – you will always get our Specialist expertise but may not see the same Doctor every time
    3. Using our experienced Fertility Nurses to guide you through every step of your journey
    4. Using lower doses of medication that still give you an excellent chance of pregnancy
    5. Eliminating the need for a day hospital admission for egg collection
    6. We do not treat complex fertility issues such as those couples requiring donor sperm or women in their mid-40’s

Hi amywillo86, thanks for your reply. I saw it on their website and I have called them to ask. They do low doses for first timers, but I was told they will look at my history and adjust medication as needed. We don't have any complex issues - low sperm count and motility and high DNA fragmentation for my husband. I was also told, my eggs aren't good quality.
Last clinic wants to just repeat same protocol, so I thought we might try the fertility centre. I will have to stick to Liverpool though as Westmead is too far for us.
    Thanks anyway...

No problem, I have heard they are a great clinic! Just depending on your needs. What protocol were you on last time? Good luck with your cycle!
