Jake was born at 11.55pm on Tuesday evening and you were all right there was no need for us to worry as we thought he was beautiful. Such tiny perfect little hands and feet, it was wonderful to get to meet him and I'm so glad we did, although in a way it makes it harder because I just want to keep hold of him now.
I have experienced bereavement before having lost both my parents but this is a different type of grief. I feel empty, literally and just so lost and completely uncertain about the future as we had made so many plans around him. Seeing him so tiny and innocent makes everything seem so unfair, he will miss the chance for so much and it just seems so harsh.
Anyway I'm starting to ramble on so I better go. Thank you to all the wonderful ladies who have helped us through this. I'm so sorry for your losses but know that your shared experiences have helped us massively. I will be in contact privately with a few of you if that's still ok? We just need a few days at home on our own now to try and process everything x x

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, I'm so sorry that he couldn't stay... Thinking of you and beautiful little Jake xoxo
I have no words that will ease your grief but please know that you are not alone - even if it's just a vent or just to tell someone "I want my baby back this is too unfair!" sometimes there is solace in strangers xoxo We will listen.
I know it feels unbearable now... I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

The mother of an angel baby is a very special one.
