Default Balanced Meal plan for 6mo??

    Hi,

Does anyone have a chart or similar which sets out clearly a balanced meal plan for a 6mo?

I want to introduce solids, without compromising milk being his main source of nutrition, but I'm unsure how to go about it?

If anyone could help out with a chart, or link to a website, which shows when and how much of each food source a 6mo should be having each day, that would be soooo helpful!

    Thanks in advance

My health nurse gave us a booklet with suggested menu and timing of meals. I will dig around and see if I still have it. Been a while though, DS is nearly 3.

That would be great if your could find it, thanks! I'm finding it so hard to find anything that specifies how much of each food type I should be giving...?

This is pretty similar to the booklet I had
    http://www.health.qld.gov.au/ph/docu...rotosolids.pdf

I did a mini stalk and noticed you are in brissie too - maybe give the health clinic near you a call and go have a chat to the nurse? Mine offered an introducing solids class(Keperra) , as well as the resources.

These are all great, thank you all very much! @CakeyMumma thanks for the suggestion, I didn't think of that! I've never really been there or contacted them, but these are sort of things they could probably help me with...must remember that next time
