Grrrr, gumtree you suck
For the last few weeks, everytime I click on the display phone number, it doesnt work. Ive tried on this pc, my phone, DHs phone, DHs ipad and the t-hub. It NEVER displays! Also Ive found that any emails Im sending are copying to my email, but aren't actually being received by the sellers as we finally managed to get one number to finally display after emailing the seller twice, and called to discover that none of the emails were received! I was wondering why I'd had no responses to my ads, and why no one ever responded to emails I sent via gumtree.
Its so damn frustrating as Ive missed out on a heap of baby things we've needed, despite often seeing the ads when they first appear, simply because the stupid phone number wont show! Ive also just discovered I cant log on as apparently my email addy doesnt exist, despite me receiving emails from gumtree re bumping my ads. FFS!
Is anyone else having issues or is it just us? Ive done all their required updates, am running IE8 as they stated along with everything else they've stated in their help section. Ive even had family try on their computers/ipads and some work occasionally, some not at all.
Any suggestions appreciated as Ive had no response from Gumtree when I asked them

My name is Niki and I work at Gumtree.
We’ve had a look into your issue and discovered that unfortunately the Gumtree webpage is not optimised for IE 8. In order to access the full features of the site, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer, or try using a different browser.
We have included a link to the Gumtree Help Desk, which gives additional details of how to best access the Gumtree site, and IE 8 optimisation issues: https://help.gumtree.com.au/knowledg...hp?article=303
If you have any further questions or continue to have trouble accessing the site, please contact email@example.com.
We hope this has been helpful for you and apologise for any inconvenience you have experienced.
