It wasn't letting me upload a pic, I had to delete the app and download it again. Then it worked!

    Your smoothie sounds yum!!!

I've read that you can keep them up to 2 days in this fridge, except if it has banana in it... Do you any of you do that? I couldn't possibly drink a whole one.
What about storing it in a cold thermos or similar to take to work??

I've used frozen berries, turned out fine!

So far I've managed to make one serve only, so haven't had to store them. My friend at work makes hers at home abs then drinks it for morning tea!

    My first one!
    I used
    Spinach
    Celery
Leaves from beetroot (couldn't get kale)
    Mint
    Mango
    Strawberry
    Lemon
    Apple
    Water and ice

I'm making DH drink it. I don't know if he's impressed.
I think I need to work on texture!

We love or juice! One of my first green juices I had years ago was pear, celery and spinach. It's delicious! Since we got the pressed juicer our juices mainly have kale, spinach, cucumber, lemons, ginger, celery and one piece of fruit like an apple or pear or sometimes half an orange just to take the edge off. We aim for minimal fruit. Unless of course we are mixing vodka with it

How is everyone going with their smoothies?

I have just taken the plunge and bought an optimum blender (similar to vitamix but about half the price). Can't wait until it arrives and I can try it out

I bought an optimum too, its great and quieter than my last blender. I've been making smoothies (alternating kale and spinach) and putting them in the fridge and drinking over two days. Seems to work pretty well.
I'm trying to maximise veggies and cut down on calories, trying to figure out where I get best bang for my buck....... for example trying to figure out if natural yoghurt is worth putting in as it makes it taste creamy and has protein to keep me full but is quite high in calories, hm.......

Bongley, have u used it to make other things such as ice cream and butters?
Good to hear you like the optimum. Mine should be arriving tomorrow! I've got my spinach and kale ready
Today was the first time I have tried kale, it actually tastes quite nice raw and the kids loved them as chips!
