I never got hot flushes on clomid, not even when it was upped to 100mg, but it's extremely common. I just got shocking headaches, dreams and pain

I understand your feelings totally Star. I've been feeling the same way all too often lately. I see people on here complain of the anguish of ttc for 9 months. 3+ years later it's pretty natural that your resolve has gone.

Yea hot flushes, headaches and mood swings have been my main clomid side effects. Really looking forward to not taking it anymore.

It's at the point for me where I either let ttc completely destroy my life or i take back control and accept that not everyone gets their happy endings and that may just be me. I've given this more than 100% and It's gotten me nowhere. There's no further treatment for us because we can't afford it so I may as well move on.

Why not have a 3 month break and reassess? After I had my ectopic we couldn't ttc for 3 months bc I had the methotrexate shot. It was hell in one way, but it was so wonderful in another. No temping, using OPK's, checking cm. It really recharged our batteries.

I'm always here if you want to PM me hun

@starflame - *hugs* hun. I really hope you get your dream BFP soon. xx

I've been feeling the same lately, but trying to convince myself it's due to where I am in my cycle. Either way, trying not to let it get to me - easier said than done!!

The thing is it's not a matter of needing to reassess it's a matter of we literally can't afford to see a fertility specialist and get further treatment. My gyno is referring me after my next appointment and we just don't have the money to go to one. Unless I magically fall pregnant on my own we have very little chance of having a baby.

My centre star flame is attached to public hospital and is not for profit. The costs are very very reasonable. My out of pocket for my upcoming FET is about $200.
What state are you in Star? Maybe there is something similar where you are? xx
