My two sleepless boys are going to be the death of me!! DS1 finally goes to sleep by himself in his own bed -- but then proceeds to scream his head off with dreams/night terrors several times a night! DS2 is back to 2 hourly wakings this week. Ugh my eyes feel like sand

All week Ds2 has been up till after midnight! He gets up at the same time every day. Naps are not bad for his age. WHAT is the ISSUE!
I'm getting so tired in falling asleep typing!

Has my ds got a sleeping disorder or am I just crap at this sleep training.
He is up again tonight and is just to much for me. I'm sick and have been getting so tired during the day. It's school holidays and I need sleep!
Can I get a sedative from the gp or would they laugh at me?

My DS has serious sleep issues caused by reflux and other issues. He is 5 months old almost 6 while he was in hospital they prescribed him phanergan. It helped a little once discharged they have told me to continue using it.

    Me + DP 01.03.2010 = DD 22.02.2011 + DS 20.01.2014 = <3

Yes was going to say you could try this for a night or two in order to catch a break but don't tell pharmacist how old bub is as it's not recommended under 2 yrs I think without doctor's instructions.

When I was a baby my mum became so exhausted from lack of sleep the doctor prescribed something (no idea what) which knocked me out all night but mum was so worried she barely slept, lol.

Just be careful though, phenergen can do the opposite on children as well. My Friend learnt the hard way on a flight home to the UK. Her DD went hyper instead of sedated!

    He is 17 months.
I used that stuff with my oldest for hay fever. Lol he went nuts on it. But I need something! In going to try get into the gp tomorrow. He is asleep not sure how long it will last. Last night it lasted 2 hours then he was up again.

Edit; not even half an hour. I'm going to lose it if this keeps up.

    Update.
Gp referred us to a pead. He has also given us a sedative.
I might get a good night sleep tonight.
