Do you have a baby monitor? If you have one you can find tonight I would put that in the room so you can hear her if she wakes and calls for you. I still use it with DS who is the same age and he usually wakes at least once a night.

I would second the baby monitor - I have one in for my DDs that share at 2 & 4.5.

Alternatively, you could leave a door open at night? If you don't currently use a night light with her I wouldn't start - but you could buy little touch LEDs that you could put up the hallway?

Good luck for tonight. It's a big step for both of you!

The baby monitor is the best thing- but I've found since being a mum I'm never "fully" asleep. My mummy radar never rests lol
We have a play room, half wall, kitchen and hallway between our room and the boys and I hear the slightest noise. (Including the throwing up!)
Good luck- it's a tough 'move' at any age- for us both 😊
