Just wondering if anyone has had a cs at Dubbo Base? What was it like? Drs and nurses? What's the rooming like? Visiting hours etc?
I'm having a cs there in May/June so would love some feedback.

Hi there, I had a planned/elective c section at Dubbo base in March 2012. I went through the public system and found the drs a little abrupt but very knowledgable (I had a very rare condition called vasa previa)and the majority of the midwives were absolutely wonderful! The rooms are mostly 4 to a room and I was there for 3 weeks or so before I had my csection and hated the fact that I was roomed in with mums and their newborns but I will say that the midwives did all they could to get me in rooms either by myself or with antenatal mums... Overall I spent 5 weeks at Dubbo base (bub was in scn for 13 days) and was happy with my experience! Hope this helps, if you want any more info or have any questions please PM me!
