    I think I tend to hold my tummy muscles in somewhat when I do them as well.....I try not to, but it's takes conscious effort......

    I know someone said you shouldn't need to hold your breath or show visible signs. I do both?

    I think it tends to be something you do automatically without thinking - I imagine over time your technique will get better
