AMH predicts response to fertility drugs. Its ability to predict your fertility is limited if you have never tried!, that's why the first cycle is so tricky to get right, if they could tell from your AMH the first IVF cycle would be much easier! I have a great AMH and a really high AFC but only produced 6 mature eggs, there is nothing wrong with that amount but my specialist said he would increase my dose next time if we have to do another round. I started on 100 units of GonalF and went up to 112.5

i have an amh of 4 and i am 32. my last ivf we hit it hard with gonal f. i think we got up to 300 or more. so dont fear too much if you are told to inject a high dose.

AF is on her way today, finally! Looking at my notes from my last stim cycle, I'll have a shot of Elonva tomorrow, but won't start Cetrotide until CD6 and Puregon until CD8.
I don't know my AMH - my FS checked it last year, but I never heard the results. As a 31 year old, he said it should be between 10-12. I'll have to ask about it when I call the clinic today.

I'm so excited, I've booked in my first BT for tomorrow. I checked my AMH result, and it was 18.5 (I was 31y, 8m at the time).
And the egg collection will still be on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning, I just may not be able to have my FS do the collection, but I'm OK that. My other option would be to go to the Greenwich clinic to ensure my FS is available, but its all the way over there. I'm just relieved that I know it won't clash with DS's nap time.
