Over the last 10 days I have had several functions for christmas including christmas goodies ie, gingerbread men, pudding, christmas cake etc. Over that time inside my mouth has been irritated to varying degrees and I have a sneaking suspicion that I may have an intolerence/allergy to one the christmas spices, like ginger or cinnamon. Last night my throat felt red raw and my lips feel slightly swollen and are a bit red, and my tongue feels awful.
I know these aren't specifically christmas spices but I have just been having them more often than usual.
Anybody else with a similar experience?
