So out of all the gifts you GAVE yesterday, which one was most clearly appreciated by the receiver?
I bought my tweenage cousins sportsgirl duffle bags and they squealed and ran to show their mum. I did a little discreet fist pump to myself Tweens are hard to buy for, I'm glad I got it right!
So whose present did you nail?

My Mum's! We got her a ceramic teapot electric kettle. Blue and white which is her favourite. She'd never seen anything like it and neither had I till I stumbled upon it!

Mil - part of her gift included a personalised calendar made with photos of our two dds and prefilled everyone's birthdays and their anniversary per current calendar.

We got my ILs a pod coffee machine. They were stoked and couldn't wait to set it up.

We finally decided it was time my parents needed an upgrade to their old 'drip' coffee machine (a story about a dead moth in the bottom of the pot after guests were over and drinking what we dub now 'moth coffee').
So they have now joined the consumers with their Nespresso coffee machine.
I let my brother in on our purchase (he is a notoriously bad buyer) so I suggested he buy a few strips of pods which we gave them first so it was a good starter to the gift- my father bless him was confused and didn't know what to make of them. My mother was a bit more cluey, and her eyes lit up quickly.

My twin nieces, I got them an interactive chuggington set and two chuggers to go with it. They loved it, they refused to open any other presents after that until they got to play with it. Totally worth it!
My sister outshone me with her remote control race car set to DS. So I guess we're even

Hubby - nespresso machine that he wasn't expecting.
Friend - purple GHD (was a joint present with 2 other friends)
Friend - a chunky red necklace. Hers had recently broken and she'd been searching for another one but couldn't find one the right amount of chunk or the right shade of red.
Friend - hunger games trilogy.
Cousin - pink converse sneakers
Cousin - tinker bell watch
Cousin - a "pooping penguin" lolly dispenser lol. He got a book as well, but apparently spent hours playing with this.
I was on fire this year. Normally I don't get it right so often haha.
