Thank you MrsErinR - we made it to transfer! I had one "perfect" eight cell embie transferred and the other one is growing - hopefully it will make it to day five for freezing (my clinic doesn't freeze in day 3).

I went straight back back to work into a three hour meeting. At least I got to sit down

Great news RoRo. I have everything crossed for you

AFM, I saw the FS this week and the plan is to do a FET with our last frostie this month (I think I've already mentioned this). If that doesn't work out, then we will be moving to Donor eggs. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders and I finally have a real chance of a lasting pregnancy.

Sorry I haven't updated more; we are at the beach and I've been neglecting my phone in favour of taking my nephews out in our new kayak.

Bfn for me today at 9dp3dt so I honk I'm out - I've always had a bfp at 12dpo when it's worked. Had a weep with DH and then we started making grand plans for specialists and second opinions.

Starting my first IVF/ICSI cycle with injections starting on Saturday.... I am so excited to start jabbing... Hope this is a normal reaction... Guessing am just happy to be moving to the right direction...

RoRo, sorry to hear about the BFN, but great to hear you have some plans going forward.

Good luck for your transfer this month MrsErinR and I am happy to hear you feel like a weight has lifted with your decision to try donor eggs if needed. My sister had actually offered to donate me her eggs about 10 days before our BFP and I was anticipating that we would be going that route ourselves. My sister's offer had lifted a weight off me too but then we were pregnant, so fx the same happens to you now the pressure is eased a bit.

AFM I am 10 weeks tomorrow and so far so good. Our last scan at 8w5d was all good with strong heartbeat. However I still can't relax about it all and want to get one more now that we are 10 weeks, although I don't think DP will agree. I've booked it for tomorrow and will speak to him about it tonight as I can always cancel it if need be.

RoRo, sorry to hear it was a BFN. I'm going to cross my fingers for you that it might be a slow starter but I totally understand the need to move on and plan for what's next.

I'll be here cheering you on :-)

Welcome Soques. I hope your ivf journey is short and sweet! And yes, I think it's totally normal to be excited about starting injections. It really feels like you're doing something positive towards a baby.
