Naaaw....RoRo...I remember the twins having hiccups! It's so cute. One of mine used to get them at 5am each morning and wake me up. Very cute! Then when they were born and in the same crib, they'd both get them and it would go back and forth and sound like a game of tennis! Ha!! Great to hear that it's all good news here, especially for you MrsErinR. We had our appointment with the neurosurgeon and he is sending the twins for an MRI sometime soon. I'm pretty upset at this as it means a general anaesthetic, but he insists it's better to be safe than sorry. He is still erring on the side of thinking it's all fine, but says that it's better to find out any possible problems now, rather than later. My gut is telling me this is all a waste of time but I suppose the experts know best. So we'll head back to the city at some stage soon and get it done.![]()

Hi Gentoo, great to hear from you and welcome back. :-)
RoRo, I'm coping with the heat ok, except terrible cankles! They went away when I was on bedrest but they're back with a vengeance!
I've started back at work but it takes a lot out of me. Not too much longer anyway as I finish up on the 19th December. Nice and early. I'll only be about 30 weeks.
We started buying our nursery furniture, prams etc. Thats pretty cool, if not a bit overwhelming. Hoping to do the nursery between Christmas and New Years.
I've had a bit of an upset tummy today which has sent me into a bit of a panic. I'm so scared of preterm labour after the sch. Trying to convince myself that I'm overreacting and it's probably just something I ate.
Nat, that is a bit daunting for you and your girls but I'm sure they'll be fine and the specialist must have good reason to suggest it? I would hate the thought of my babies having to do that too though.
Hi to everyone else out there.

In-utero hiccups are so funny - I loved the sensation! It's kind of nice feeling your baby move when you're in meeting and no-one else knows - it's your own little secret. Hope you're having fun with it, Roro!
I'm glad to hear you're back at work Mrs ErinR and hope you're getting plenty of opportunities to rest and recharge between now and finishing up. Try not to fret about the tummy upset - your little one is probably blissfully unaware of what's going on right beside him/her.
I'm sorry that the neurosurgeon has thrown a little bit of doubt into the air, Nat. You spend the most time with your girls, and I bet your mother's instinct that it's all fine will turn out to be spot on. It's hard, I know, but try not to fret about the MRI! While your girls have been late to move, they've probably been busy focusing their attention on other skills and are ahead of other kids in those areas. I think that while kids pick things up at different times, it all more or less evens out in the end.
AFM - we were planning to wait until Dec to start TTC, but after I checked our maternity leave policy (and discovered I don't need to be back for 12 months) we decided to start TTC this month. So, today marks the start of the old familiar TWW! I'm (so far) a lot more casual this time around - no measuring basal temps and I haven't even bought a single HPT yet! (I do have a spreadsheet, though!)

Oh my goodness ladies, I'm so sorry I haven't caught up for a while or let you know how things are here.
Firstly, glad you are off bed rest MrsE. Hope you have mat leave soon though. Don't overdo it.
Roro, love hiccups, except when they were just as I was going to sleep.
Hi Gentoo, hope your journey to #2 is short.
Nat, I'm sure the scanning will be stressful but at least you will have a diagnostic all clear after 😊
AFM - NIPT results in and all good. Had ob at 8.5 weeks and his ultra sound measured behind but it was just his machine. Next one at 10.5 was spot in. Have my 12 week scan tomorrow. Can't wait to see the bubba.
Anyone I've forgotten, I apologise.

Oh my goodness....just catching up because I no longer have Bub Hub on my phone and rarely get to a computer. 32 weeks RoRo!! That is amazing, fantastic, wonderful, exciting!! I had my bubs at 35 weeks so you are definitely on your way to being mummy very soon.....though hopefully longer than mine.... LOVING reading all the great updates everyone. So excited that our little thread is coming to it's conclusion and moving on to discussing babies, real, cuddly, gorgeous little babies. Cannot wait to hear everyone's news...

I hope you're all well and enjoying the festive season. I also hope that Roro and MrsErinR
are getting on okay with the heat!
Well, we started trying again this cycle and... BFP! I'm trying not to get too excited yet, because I've been in the same position once before and was sorely disappointed when it didn't work out. But I think I am quietly hopeful. Now all we can do is hurry up and wait for a viability scan in 3 weeks time.
How did your NTS go, Wunsi?

Exciting news Gentoo! I'm sorry I can't remember, is this a natural conception?
I'm 14 weeks and the nt was all good. Spent an hour at home trying to work out gender, just for fun as we don't want to know for sure. Have felt some movement since 11.5 weeks. Not consistent but definitely bubby. I have an anterior placenta so I probably won't get consistent again for a while.
When our next incoming babes due?

Six weeks to go for me! Gentoo that's awesome news - I'm so happy for you. Sending all the sticky vibes and I hope the time til the first scan goes super fast.
Wunsi I'm really glad the NT scan went well! Are you going to avoid finding out bubs' sex until birth?
AFM all well after a scare this morning - bun wasn't moving at all and I ended up in hospital briefly getting a ctg monitor for an hour. He's fine, just trolling me.
It's so hot. I feel like a giant hot balloon.
