Default When you say 'drug free labour'..

Do you mean no gas too, or do you not class gas as a drug?

    Just curious..

I huffed on the gas like it was going out of fashion. It didn't do jack, but I pretended it did

I did peth and gas with ds1, and only gas with ds2 and dd (omg its so weird saying that!!). I'd love to claim I had them drug free, but I needed the gas too help me breathe.

I would say drug free because I had gas with DD1 after a shot of pethadine (spell check just wanted to change that to methadone😣), and both did sweet FA with the induction. My 3 subsequent drug free births were less painful.

    Huge congrats BTW. xx

It's fantastic you got your little girl

I was 100% sure dd3 was going to be my ds1 haha so wrong

    With
    dd1 I had pethedine, gas & epidural
Dd2 I just had the pethedine
    Dd3 I had gas & epidural

Drug free means drug free. Gas is still a drug.

I don't consider my labour drug free anyway because I was induced so straight away there were drugs involved
