I was sure to buy the Medela Swing until I was told it's an open system (bacteria can get into the milk).
The Spectra S2 (and Tommee Tippee Miomee) are closed systems and therefore bacteria/contamination can't get into the milk.
Would love to hear your input on the products - will probably not risk the Medela Swing now.

Spectra is good. Unimom also have good pumps, closed and a reasonable price. I wouldn't buy the medela, too expensive and an open system. Ameda also make closed system pumps.
