Default Stupid Target return policy!!! VENT.

Target is the only big store I know that won't let you exchange items without a receipt unless it's Target branded! Seriously do I look like I'd steal 2 spiderman figures to return them for 40 bucks!!!??? DH got 3 the same thing for his birthday and they're sold at target but obviously no receipts so I'll be stuck with the damn things. If it's good enough for kmart/big w then what makes Target so special!!!! Any solutions will be most appreciated.

I don't think kmart or big w sell them. That's always my first option. None on the shelves anyway. It's happened once before with a toy I got that worked Xmas day then I put it away as he had so many toys and when I got it out again it didn't work. They wouldn't take it back I was not happy it cost$50!

Yeah, I'd give this a try.

I didn't realise Target were that strict with returns.

I returned a whole bunch of things that got for my baby shower that I already had, I had no receipts they just gave me a store credit. Definitely call and ask for the store manager they will do it, the last thing they want it for you to write a letter to head office cause then they get their arses kicked. I complained to a store manager once about poor service I received and they sent me out a gift card :-)

as above says, I have returned to two different target store without receipts and got store credits no worries. I'm surprised you didn't, thought that would be across the board! Silly target.

I got told the other week too by a Target store that their policy has changed - now even if you still have a receipt you only have 1 month to return/exchange. WTF.
