    I'd flip if my fil spoke to me like that. I put him in his place quiet firmly early on in df and my relationship and it's been great ever since.

    As for your mil, OP. How intrusive for your dd, and how rude to speak about you that way. I don't have any advice, apart from ignore. Easier said than done though.
