    Default heartburn heartache

    how is everyone coping with heartburn? i'm not :/ gaviscon a few times a day, but all foods are triggers any suggestions?

    Zantac! It's available at chemists. Zantac gives you 12 hrs coverage, then you can still use gaviscon when needed.

    Second the zantac...
    When I was pregnant, the thing that I found that helped the most was Pepsi max. Not saying I'd recommend drinking masses of it but it did help...

    That's so strange, you'd think Pepsi max would aggravate it!

    I had bad heartburn in my 2nd and 3rd trimester too, I didn't find a thing that helped sorry

    Drank cold milk out of the bottle!!

    Fresh ginger in hot water and drink like tea. Don't drink too much cold water as that makes it worse. You can also take nexium ask your ob for a script if it really bothers you all day.

    My second pregnancy I had excrutiating heart burn it was terrible. I couldnt eat or sleep and I had it 24/7 no matter what I did. Zantac worked for two days then did absolutely nothing. The only thing that took the edge off was these gaviscon chewable tablets

    I got a script for pariet from my dr. Went from max allowable gaviscon dose daily to none.
