Just a quick message ladies. Feeling quite emotional at the moment as DH is away for work for a week. Used to be able to handle it a bit better but being tired has added to the tenderness I think.
And YES so over work too. Wish I could stop now...6 and a half weeks to go.
Anyway, DH was so sweet today before he left for his NZ work trip and spent the morning doing groceries, picking up our feeding chair, bassinet and side shelf and putting it together. Came home to a baby "alcove" that looks much more homely. The best present ever. Just sitting in my chair with tears in my eyes. Won't be this quiet for long

Hi ladies.. How funny we dtd on the weekend which was the first time in a while very uncomfortable and I too have pain down below... Don't know if we'll go there again as I'm back to waddling after my Pilates corrected it last time
Amps that sounds really uncomfortable. Glad is ok now.
Got results I'm low in vit d.. The letter didn't say anything else so I'm presuming my glucose test was fine. Might call OB this morning to double check.
Arlais 9 kgs is good.. I'm already up 12kgs at 28 weeks.. Woops.. I'll worry about that later!! My Bubs is breech too.. Hopefully it turns soon.. In stressing about it.
Seeing OB on Tues.. I'm doing the online paid parental leave request today.. Can apply 3 months before Bubs is due

Panda I'm over work too.. I've still got 9.5 weeks to go No patience what so ever and it's so busy too... I'm sure I've stuffed up lots! Woops!
Lots that's so nice of your DH.. I can imagine it would be hard.. I was upset when my DH didn't get home from work till 8.30 the other night
Spoke to my OB today and glucose test was fine (yay!!) but I'm low in iron and vitamin d.. So more vitamins for me to take.. Not that I'm complaining.. That might explain why I'm sooooo tired though.. My back is killing me too this week

Yikes all this talk of dtd has made me glad it's off the cards till after bubs is born. Glad all was fine in the end Amps!
We just came back from our 20 week scan and everything is perfect! Bubs was so cooperative it only took 15 mins. My cervix and stitch are still looking good which is a huge relief.
I also just made my first purchase of a baby monitor as it's on sale at babies r us. Now to get the other hundred million other baby things we need!

Yay for a good scan Riss!!
JJ I was amazed at what a difference starting to take iron tablets made to my energy levels - I noticed a big change literally within a few days. I'm taking the Fero grad C brand which seems to be working well - no constipation, which can be a side effect with a lot of iron supplements. The vitamin D will also help you to feel better

JJ - low iron can be draining. I'm taking a liquid iron supplement morning and night. (Spa tone) Also trying to eat heaps of meat, coupled with vitamin c (oj etc). And I've been making smoothies each morning with kale. (Kale, frozen blueberries, frozen yoghurt, milk, strawberries and a banana). Plus upped the fibre levels too. Still tired tho so hopefully some of it is getting processed. Will see in a week when I get results and go for another blood test. Keen to not get too low at the birth.
Good luck! xx
Also taking spirulina, pregnancy 1 a day, vitamin c and magnesium.
On another note, drinking spoonfulls of udo's oil (omega 3,6,9) as brain development is big in the 30's.
I'm literally a walking chemist! Haha!
Tomorrow hit the single digits -9 weeks to go!!!

Riss-well done on the great scan results!!
Amps-glad to hear things are ok with you and bub.
Arlais-9kg is great, I've gained that and I'm 4 wks behind you.
Lots-it must suck having hubby that works away. Dh and I are alone here in Oz so we are hardly ever apart and we both really struggle when one of us goes away.
Bedlover-I hope you and Arlais get good news on growth. I would be more than happy to share some of the fat from my 77th centile chunker.
KJ-no cravings here but I am loving ice cold water which is very unlike me. I find I'm so warm these days and have the aircon and fans on all the time.
Had an Ob appt today. I'm borderline for GDM with a BGL of 7.7. Don't need to do daily tests at this stage but advised to be careful. Could be why bub is a decent size. Ob said my uterus is already very tight and still very small so he doesn't know if there's a lot more room for baby to grow. Bub is also sitting breech still (has been all along) so we touched on the subject of c-section if it doesn't turn due to a lack of space. Still plenty of time fir things to change.

Wow lotsa that is cool can't wait to get that far very exciting so close to holding your little one but I also don't want to miss the kick and knowing he's just there in my belly

So booked GTT, Iron blood test etc today for 25 Feb (as OB wants results before next appt on 5 Mar).
Next scan is a 32wk growth scan 31 Mar. Then it's going to hit I think as Junior will be due in less then two months after that scan
