I've had the Implanon for 11 months and hated it so had it removed 2 weeks ago and started the pill straight away. Now I seem to be feeling extremely pregnant but did a negative hpt test today. I've had 2 babies so I know what pregnant feels like. My hubby is overseas for work so the last possible conception date could have been Aug 02 which would make me approx 16 weeks. After 6 months of constant spotting on Implanon I've had no period for about 5 months so I'm really not sure what's happening. I was already overweight but feel really fat and bloated the last few months. I've been quite nauseous for at least a month and gagging a few times. Smells are starting to make me feel sick too. After searching online for info I've probably talked myself into being pregnant! My stomach feels like it has movement and when I lay back there's a lump sticking up in the centre (like my previous pregnancies). Also been very tired for the last few months and I've been having a short nap when my toddlers have their naps.

Has anyone fallen pregnant while using Implanon?

I had the implanon in for about 10 years and didn't get pregnant. I did fall pregnant basically straight away after having it out though.
I haven't heard of anyone planning pregnant with the implanon if it was inserted properly.
I hope you get the answer soon.

Thanks CookingMonster. Ten years is a long time! It must have worked well for you then. Since I've been reading up on Implanon I've read so many negative things, also heaps of people know someone or have fallen pregnant on it.
The thought had never crossed my mind until recently. I was talking on the phone with my hubby and said 'if I didn't know it was impossible then I would swear I was pregnant right now' OMG I thought I actually might be, so started researching.
Think I may have to see my GP very soon!

Yes it worked well for a while but after I had dd it just didn't seem right so I got it taken out. Too hormonal really.
Going to the doctor sounds like good idea. Good luck - I hope you get the answer you want
