Since Saturday dd has been breaking out in a red lump rash ? Hives which settles completely by the late evening, she has the occasional scratch but doesn't seem to bother her too much.
On Sunday the rash returned about mid morning and then settled again and has returned at mid morning again today.
It seems to travel to different areas and appear in new ones as the old one settles. I have taken her to emergency the last two days and the nurses thought allergy (by the time the dr saw her on Saturday he wasn't sure but said maybe heat rash but all the bumps raised areas had gone by this stage)
The nurses yesterday both said allergy and to try claratyne which I did didn't seem to do much more settled on its own
Does it sound like an allergy as it comes and goes and nothjng new at home. We were out of town at Xmas lunch when it first broke out but has been at home since.
She isn't unwell. Just not sure whether to get another opinion or if this is the normal course?
