Default What does well presented really mean?

If you see this mentioned in a job advertisement what does it actually mean? Well presented or very well presented... Does it mean suit, hair/make up? I found one if my dream jobs...working as an airline customer service check-in person. But I see the words must be very well presented and I get put off applying.

Call me cynical; but I actually think it's code for must be good looking. They can't say 'must be good looking', so they say 'very well presented'... Especially if it's a job at an airline, I would assume that's what they mean.

I interpret it as: clean, wrinkle free clothing that covers everything that should be covered for the nature of the employment, clean tidy hair, make up that is not overly dramatic or making a statement, clean nails, footwear that is in good repair.

......and thank you for making me sound like my mother .

Ahhh! Sorry accidentally pressed send.. As I was saying all types of people are employed in the area I work. Can I just say that it's not all beer and skittles, be prepared to work odd hours, weekends and public holidays. This year will be my first Xmas off in 4 years. For the interview they will ask you situational questions. For example, tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

I interpret it as presenting yourself as if you had the job already.

Airlines usually have suits or shirt and skirt/pants. Make up, hair pulled back. Etc.

All of what you have said above is what I thought it meant. And lol @ spg and mean fingernails.

Bluemarlin. Thanks I might. I haven't applied yet but noticed that it has been advertised a second time around. I'm still hesitant to apply. I've git the required experience its just the very well presented part that I'm holding off about.

It's a part-time role. Public holidays and Xmas suit me fine especially as I don't celebrate xmas or easter etc.
