Default Is this a REALLY popular name??

Dh and I are trying to decide on names for bub who is due in April, we won't be finding out what it is..
Dh suggested Mia which I love (he actually hated it when I suggested it for dd) but is it a really common name? I just don't want them to be in school with 3 other Mia's.

Would love other girl or boy names middle names will be Elizabeth and Charles

    Thanks

I think it's a gorgeous name but I think it's quite popular. Not as popular as it was a few years ago when Bec and leighton Hewitt named their daughter Mia, but still popular.

It's consistently been in the top 5 most popular girls names for the past few years, so very common. It is an awesome name though....

It's very popular, consistently in the top 5-10 Australian baby names but I think that's because it's such a pretty name. My DD's name is usually top 10 (wasn't 8 years ago) but there are heaps around now and it's not a problem.

It is top 5 so you will hear some around!

I think DS2 was in top 5 last year yet he's the only one at his large daycare & I don't know any others in real life :-)

Thanks everyone, as soon as Dh said it I thought that's the name! But now I'm not sure....

Has anyone got any other suggestions? Especially on boys names we are coming up with nothing

What sort of names do you like? Traditional or a bit more modern or out there?

I'm open to hear pretty much anything. Nothing too out there though, I really like Ryan and Connor but have nephews with those names so can't use them.

I would love to use Hayden or Chelsea but Dh isn't keen I have gone through my baby name book of 75000 names and have nothing.
