Appreciate any advice on surviving the growth spurt.
My 24 day old baby just started having his first growth spurt and feeding every hour which is driving my mother (who is around to help) crazy as he is screaming the house down.
Suggestion is to feed him once on formula at the last night feed at 11pm so that it will allow sleep for 4 hours.
Wondering if this is true (formula makes babies sleep longer) and if so, will it be 4 hours minimum or less than this.
If there are any tips on how to sleep like the baby at this stage that would be helpful too. I couldn't sleep every hour like the baby so have been feeling very tired with the hourly feeding. This also throws away all 'predicted feeding times' as it has drastically changed now.
