I'm just going through some results from my FS that she has never discussed with me, but I've noticed that the hysteroscopy results for NK cells states in the diagnosis field, CD56 shows moderate numbers of stromal cells with positive staining at a rate of 14 cells per high powered field . And on another sheet says
CD56 NK CELLS- 16%
does this mean I have NK cells that I should be seeking further treatments ie intripalids? Or would a general immune protocol suffice with antibiotics, predisiolone, clexane, crinone do (this was my protocol for last cycle).
Any advice appreciated!
PS my FS is impossible to get into see at the moment and my next appt is Jan 22 so will ask then, but am curious now!

what level is considered 'high' for NK Cells?

Emski - It seems that the interpreting of your test results depends where you had them tested as each Doctor test differently. I found this with Dr. Sacks and Dr. Matthias. CD56 with Dr. Sacks the levels are required to be under 14% to be considered normal so if this is a similar test to Dr. S then your levels are elevated but not very high.
Please don't quote me on this as I'm not 100% sure and I'm only speculating. If the above is correct my assumption would be intripalids would be sufficient as opposed to IVIg unless your CD57 levels were high? Did you have the biopsy to test?

yes I had a biopsy through my FS (not Dr M or Sacks) - I'm seeing her next month so will see what she says. Thanks for responding

I wasn't given a %. I was told my level was 470 and it should be under 340. He said mine isn't extremely high.
