We bought a very expensive latex queen bed this year. We have a small bedroom and I didn't want a king size to dwarf the room, plus it was even more pricey for a king.
It's the perfect size for DH & me, but it's a tight fit when DS1 is in bed having cuddles in the morning and when DS2 joins us DH has to go lie on the foot of the bed!
