Default Falling pregnant straight after MC.

Ok so I had a MC on Wednesday, I was 5w along. Very straight forward - fair amount if bleeding but just like a period. No pain. Levels can down quickly Going to OB today to make sure all is well.
I've been told by numerous dr to wait one cycle before trying but then I've spoken to a few people who have said it's safe to fall straight away.
Just wanting to hear anyone's experience in falling pregnant after MC?
Did you wait or did you fall straight away? Was it successful or did you MC again? Was it ectopic? Etc
I will ask my OB what he thinks but my friends OB told her that if it's a straight forward MC then whenever your ready is fine.

    Thoughts ladies?

I'd wait to hear what your ob says and go from there.

I had an early m/c and the hospital told me to wait 6 months before trying again. However when I spoke to my gp a few days later she said she couldn't see any reason to wait, as long as we were ready. We fell pregnant 3 weeks later and dd3 is now a happy healthy 15 month old.

After I had 2 m/c my OB told me not to wait and to keep trying so without waiting for AF we tried again and got DD2. My OB explained that it is good to wait 1 cycle for dating purposes and making sure everything is back to normal but after a m/c you are more fertile so for us we didn't want to wait!

I think the 'waiting' is to aid with dating a future pregnancy. We've just been through our 2nd mmc (baby was measuring 9.5wks) and I have been told that apart from the dating side of things, we can try again straight away if we are ready.

I was told to wait 3mths with our first however that was a mmc at 12.5wks and a d&c ensued so it was suggested to wait to allow my lining to return to normal
