I've heard conflicting advice about using a seat belt extender. Do they meet Australian safety standards and if they do are they worth getting?
DS has just been moved in to a booster seat and i have to buckle him in now as he can't do it himself. Wondering if this will enable him to.

I had never even seen these before but what a great idea , I had to always do the 2 girls booster seat belts up as they couldn't reach between the seats and it drove me nuts. If its got an AS number on it then it meets australian standards.

Does anyone have one of these? Do you recommend them? Where did you but it from?

My Mum asked at our local fitting station about getting one going for the booster seat in her car however she couldn't get one that clipped in to her actual seat belt as apparently seatbelt clips are different in each car. She tried 5 different ones they had in stock. So, moral of the story, try before you buy.

I needed them in my falcon. When we had two boosters and a car seat across the back, cause even I couldn't do the seat belt up due to the close proximity.
They do meet AS. I got mine from Autopro and they were able to give me the correct ones straight away.

We got one from Autopro when dd went into a booster. It makes it sooo much easier to do up her seatbelt.

We have two in our Aurion, and they are so helpful (we have three seats in the back, very squishy!). I got ours from a seller on ebay who sold heaps of ones suitable for different makes of cars. From what I researched, as long as they are proper seatbelt clips for your make of car, they are ok to use.
