    I made this for dd1 to give her teacher.
    It is made with a mug cake recipe. I coloured the sugar cut the cooled sugar with flour to make the colour go further. I also put a tube of card in the centre of the jar to make the mix fill the jar.

    all the teacher has to do is add an egg, some oil and a bit of milk. Hope she likes it.

    Does he work in an office? What about a mug with either a photo of DD or a hand/footprint on it to take in to work, or a keyring? Or is he a big fan of any sports team? You could make (if you can knit!) matching daddy and daughter football scarves or even flags or something with a little poem about how she barracks for them too and will be cheering by his side next season. A mix CD of songs about dads and daughters.
