Agree if the mum and daughter get lower than 27 it's rigged for sure. That's a really hard score to get below!

Also saw the following. It's a testimonial about David's work from a happy client...himself & Corrine lol. It's also the Mkr one

Sometimes I do feel like a bad person for wanting some of the couples to crash and burn in blazing glory, but then I remind myself that at least 95% of what we see is cut and edited and even partially scripted (more in the nudging people to say what the producers want them to say and catching the soundbites rather than handing them an actual script) and they're no longer people anymore, they're exaggerated caricatures.

The more I learn about what goes on behind the scenes, the more disheartening it becomes - it's 'reality' that's not only a teeny bit real - but it's also rather uplifting because surely these people aren't as awful as they appear to be. (Right? Right!?)

    It gives me hope.
I know someone who was in the series with the male couple who were mega *****y, and terrible with their French food!
She said they were pretty nasty people. No one liked them.
You need to have the nastiness there to edit them that way.

I was trying to find the trophy wife photo, to show DH. Those two links were fourth and fifth lol. Plus I'm changing banks and wanted to know which bank NOT to go with
Real estate agent suits him much better

The spoon story is hilarious! Poor bloke, he just wants his spoons back! Seriously though, how insulted must he feel? I mean, leaving him for David? And then having to watch how much of a tosser David is on national TV? Hope he meets a gorgeous woman who shares her spoons with him

There were quite a few euphemisms/ double entendres floating around last night, what with David polishing the chrome on the boat and the whole "pounding the pork" conversation... Kind of makes sense of the swingers thing in a way.

    Yep, I've heard that too.
We have Mick from last years Tassie team on morning radio here. Sophia was due to do an interview, then backed out when she discovered a fellow contestant was doing the interview. He regularly said that she was exactly as they showed her, and in fact some of the more derogatory comments were edited.
Mick and Matt are EXACTLY like they were on screen!

Apparently a lot of editing is done to show each personality more, but the portrayal of them is correct.

My DH knew James from James and Mel, and he's a bit of a wet blanket. He also knows Megan and Andy, esp Megan, and they are not nice people. We didn't watch the season with M & A, but DH did wonder if she got drunk and aggressive at all, which she excels at

I can't believe how good that cake/flan looked just for it to bomb out! They try everything so how can they not no it isn't nice?
