I think both the wa teams have been awful as well. This round the girls an absolute biatch - smiling while you say it doesn't make it any better! And every time the judges gave a criticism the guy would smirk and giggle to himself :/
On another note, DH walked in at the end of the dessert tasting, He watched the recap of all the meals and then picked the judges scores exactly. He does this every night! Spot on. It's insane! Ha ha.

Who puts a bone in a pie?! It's like she said that deliberately setting them up for 'failure'.
The couple who cooked tonight seemed really sweet and loving. I missed the end score, but I think they would be good to watch since they aren't so b!tchy.
Did the young girls ever say their ages?

I've seen lamb shank pie with the bone sticking out of the pastry, but agree she said it just to be able to be disappointed. I thought the guys' enactment of her eating her lamb bone was pretty funny.
I don't think I heard the young girls' ages either.
My sister (and me too, actually) went to school with the 'trophy wife'. I don't remember her at all but my sis was in her class. Said she was nice in HS, smarter than she appears and used to post heaps of food pics on her FB page (which has since been disabled).

The NSW couple were so sweet. As soon as they started plating up the lamb pie I was shouting at the telly, "that needs gravy! Reduce the stock!"
They didn't seem to have much food knowledge? Why not strain the stock, halve the amount & add some cornflour to thicken? Really lamb shanks are the easiest thing in the world to make and I was surprised at how much stock they used, I've never seen such a watery stew.
The entree I couldn't get why they didn't just stick the lobster tails back on the grill for an extra 2-3 minutes.
