    Default Is 3d printing for spare parts possible??

    I hand seen this new 3d printer technology and I need a replacement part for an appliance. I know, I'm naughty for pulling it apart myself, its just a cog that needs replacing but am having trouble tracking one down.

    Does anyone know of anywhere that I could send it to to get copied (if that's at all possible)? all I can find are places that want a printable file emailed to them.

    Shape ways might be able to do it. Bt yes 3d printing is incredible they scanned a shifter and it even worked! Very amazing

    Thank you I will check it out. I saw a demo on TV and the guy doing it said he used the technology to replicate a part he needed for his dishwasher.

    Amazing the things the human race can develop.

    Even if u take a picture of it they should be able to replicate it

    I had a look and they are based in USA but they have some great products. Casino chips could be useful

    I think I might have to email one of the companies. most of them just seem so corporate.
