So my MIL often makes strange comments on fb posts, and likes pages and then get the sh!ts with all of their stuff showing up on their wall so she posts comments telling organisations to unfriend her because she thinks she is making a point, among many other oddities. She has not gotten the concept of tagging people in posts.....until today when she posted a comment about the governor general advocating that Australia unite as one republic on matters of marriage equality, and she has now tagged the band One Republic in her post. Dh and are a bit of this and a bit of this and a bit of this .

My mil uses it as her first choice of communication with me. I think she thinks it makes her 'hip'?

DH's Uncle who friended a female family friend then proceeded to post on her wall what he would like to *ahem* do to her
Not only could this lady's friends and family see the post, but she had no idea DH's Uncle felt that way about her.
Anyway shortly after this disaster Uncle's FB was deactivated, never to be seen again
Uncle is a married man

Oh jeez, I think whether or not I found that highly amusing or highly irritating would depend on the day.
For me... I guess my dad? He comments on too many things I post for my liking... and it's always "hehehe" afterwards. It reads as creepy. Which, I suppose, is accurate. He's posting a lot of photos lately... him, his 50/60 year old Australian mates all living in the Philippines... with their barely-legal gfs.
The most recent gross-out pic is of him grabbing the boob of his (I am not even exaggerating here), gf who only turned 18 this July.
Ain't nobody want to see (or know) about that shiz...

I have a friend who posts when she farts and has every type of silly hashtag, symbol and link you can imagine. I don't care that you skyped your DF this morning and 'love you baby' hashtag hashtag, and that you are counting your wedding down to the milli-seconds ... step away from the facebook! In saying that I'm being quite mean, it gives me a giggle sometimes at the ****e she can post!

I have a girl on my Facebook purely for the entertainment factor. She's my best friends cousin. She posts a selfie of her posing then says "happy wedding day ____ & _____" or "happy birthday to my bestie" but it's only a photo of her, like she's saying "happy birthday, your present is that you get to look at me!" Bahahahaha

My DH's cousin posts pictures of herself pole dancing. Often. Then her parents (who used to be Jehovah's Witnesses until a year ago) 'like' or comment on them, saying stuff like 'you go girl'.
So wrong town in so many ways.
