    Default Ovulation after MC.

Hi ladies. Was hoping I could get some info from all you wise women out there.

So sadly I MC on Wednesday. My hcg levels where 194 and I had them retested today, awaiting results.
I'm still bleeding today but it's getting lighter.

Obviously DH and I would like to try again but I would like to wait one cycle (I haven't had a period since stopping breast feeding and conceiving and I feel like I "should") before falling again.

So my question is do I treat a mc as a period? And would Wednesday be cd1? When should I start testing for ovulation? I need to avoid it this time.

    Thanks ladies

I didn't start tracking my cycle again until my first regular period after mc (at least a few weeks later).

Sorry for your loss. Have you lost the sac yet? It is usually cd1 from losing sac which is when red blood stops and brown starts

It's still red blood but slowing down. I was passing a lot of blood and some small clots. When I wiped there would be a lot of blood on the paper and now it's just a small amount.
    Tmi I know sorry
So start counting from when it turns brown?

Yes I would start counting from brown. Also, when I had mine, the day of last positive on test was around the time of ovulation (ovulated about 2 days after negative poas)
I know it's hard to keep testing but it give you some idea of when its all gone.
It usually goes down by half every 2 days

I don't have any preg tests anymore.
I'll start using my OPKs on Monday. I've got heaps. Might order some more IC preg tests for next time (I'm a testing junkie)
