Default When did your maternity leave start?

    Hi ladies,

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and just starting to get uncomfortable at work. Just curious as to when everyone else worked up to. I've got 2 weeks left but probably won't make it that long!

With my first I felt exactly how you must feel so finished up work at 32 weeks but then my cheeky girl arrived 2 weeks late. I was so bored at home and hanging out for her to arrive.
With DD2 I worked up until 36weeks and she was born at 38 weeks which worked good for me.
I never returned after DD2 and had 2 more daughters that followed!

I just finished last week at 32 weeks. I was meant to work through to 34 weeks but my twins are measuring on the large side and my pelvis and lower back isn't coping so doctor recommended some rest to get me through to full term.

You know your body, just talk to your OB if need be and see what they can suggest.

    Good luck!

Ob put me on maternity leave on Friday as one twin is measuring quite a bit smaller than the other. Not sure I would have made it through the week anyway as my job is quite a physical one. So definitely for the best. Thanks for your responses ladies!

Peony - I hope your two little ones stay put!

with my first pregnancy it was a singleton I worked up to 36 weeks, she was born at 39 weeks.
This pregnancy is twins and whilst they are measuring good and is progressing well, I am finishing up this week at 30+5. I am ready to stop as it is much more physically draining, especially with a toddler. Plus the heat is killing me.

I worked up to 12 days before my due date with DS. This time I was planning on working up to 5 days before my scheduled C section!
