Default Cloth nappies for a newborn

#2 due in Feb and I would like to give cloth a go. I tried with my ds around 10-12months but gave up after not being able to find something that worked. I didn't find that I preferred bamboo though.
I do have some cheapies, ittis and lil puddins left but I thought they might be a bit big for a newbie even though they are osfm.
Ds was born 4.5kg so this baby *might* be around the same.
    Any recommendations?

I used baby beehinds for my first. And will use them for my second. However ive found even the small size is still too big for them at the beginning and don't usually get into them until around 1 month old

I prefer terry or flannel flats till 6-8wks old. They fit even the smallest bums but I like them because you can tell if they are wet easily. Great if you want to make sure bub is getting enough bm (if supply or latch is an issue).

We had some Baby Beehinds petites which were great (DD was born about 4 kilo), but for any future bub I think I'd try the terry flats.

I'm due in Jan...i have some BBH petites in small & med, and some Itty Bitty small, medium & OSFM. The BBH petite smalls are tiny but I'm not sure my bub will be big enough to fit them so I have some terry flats as well.

Mums, bubs & Clothy bums on Facebook. A friend who uses MCN's buys from them. They have real funky designs I've not seen anywhere else. Their moustache ones are popular! They're on Instagram too. At the moment they've got a special till Jan $5.50 each and then they'll be $7.

Tried searching mums, bubs & clothy bums in IG and google and found nothing?

I used osfm from 2 days old. There were a few leg leaks but nothing major, more if you were holding him the wrong way and he did a number 3 which used to happen to my nephew in sposies as there legs are so little. DS was 3.6kg and we used mostly my little ripple

I've been using bambooty smalls, itti tuttos and baby bare osfm on my week old and no leaks. The osfm are a bit bulky but manageable!
