Hey girls. Wow will have to catch up on posts!!
DH and I went away, just down to lancilen for DS1 birthday (today ) so hence why I've been MIA!
Update with me - POAS this morning using FMU. Still positive but certainly fainter than it has been so that's a good sign. My brown spotting has turned into light bleeding so unsure if that's leftover blood or what but I'm just going to go ahead and call it AF as it's a totally different consistency to what I would expect leftover blood to be.
I guess we will see in about 10ish days if I O?
I googled hcg drop after MC and it can take up to 6-11 weeks for hcg to drop back to 0 so I'm less worried about my positive HPTs now but slightly worried that it's going to take 11 weeks!!!! I'm thinking though that my HPT will turn neg in the next week.
Hope everyone else is going well!

You ladies all sound like me. Except I would KILL to be in my own house. Stuck with an in law and BIL who don't help with any housework at all and I always look like a jerk because I'm always angry about it. And I see my SIL and BIL with their own houses and lives having fun with no stresses and here we are having to even help mil financially and she can't even pay it back it's so unfair. But they're doing their own food shopping now and so are DP and I. And I've stopped doing their dishes so I leave it on the sink and pile it up.
As for gin ladies, I didn't go but anybody can go ( unless you have the IQ of Forrest Gump) but none of you seem in the least bit like that so go for it. And I'm sure we're all struggling financially but if we all waited there would be no babies! All I know is I'm sick of feeling inadequate as the time gets closer to starting .
And to the woman whose SIL mc I am sorry
And fart tennis??? I don't think I could do that I don't think I could fart on demand haha

Home & resting up ladies. Assume things went ok with this mornings d&c, they didn't say otherwise. Had a minor hiccup with my bp again-nowhere near as low as with my first experience but it still was down. At least I recovered quick enough to be discharged pretty quickly so all in all a nicer (if you can say that) experience than my first d&c. I even got given a lovely little angel charm that they give to those have mc so I will need to find somwhere to hang it
I havent read all I've missed but lexim, have you had any follow up bloods or an u/s following your mc? It certainly can take a while to drop (i was 10wks along and was still registering 415 last week (3wks post mc) & our 1st mmc it took 6ish wks to completely disappear) but it can also be a sign of retained products if it is falling slowly, as was the case with me and the reason why I went in for a d&c this morning. (As I said, haven't read all posts so not sure if youve had scans etc)
Longest, longest 4wks of my life but now our nightmare is seemingly over hooray and we can heal & move on. I can get back to happy posts for you all!
And hopefully - sorry for your bro/sil loss. I know exactly how hard it is for them right now & how difficult Christmas will be as we were also waiting until then to share even though we would already have been past 12wks now. Maybe just send them a card for the time being, knowing that you care will help & in their own time they will be able to talk xx life sucks majorly sometimes

So glad things went okay today Michelle hope you are alright tonight. Hope you have a good relax.
And how lovely of them to give you a little charm. I think they definitely do more for parents who mc or give birth to still babies.

Glad you are able to move on a bit more now that the d&c is done. How lovely for them to give you that angel charm!
Had my ultrasound girls. She did a normal one then asked if I wanted an internal...after a bit of deliberation I decided to have it...SOOOO uncomfortable! She did say that because I've so recently come off bc, it can make the ovaries look polycystic because of that. She said the best way to tell is through bloods. Which I said I had had. So she was happy that they came back as negative. We will see what my GP makes of the report anyway. But she did say they didn't seem too bad or no obvious cysts.
I got offered that job today. You may be thinking I should be jumping for joy, but...it's the same pay I'm on and not sure if it's actually more responsibility for the same pay. I need to look at the contract and work this out. Life loves to throw curve balls sometimes. Will keep you posted on that one.
Lex, lancelin how nice!! I had no idea about the HCG levels taking so long to drop down. That just shows how much I'm learning off here. It's so informative, despite being so terribly sad when m/c's happen

Hope it sounds like things are going okay for you- looks negative for PCOS and a job offer . Even if you don't take it it is good for the ego lol

Hopefully - FX for you, sounds like you've been given the all clear. Does your new job mean you will get a pay rise down the track? Like your on a "probationary wage" until your settled or possibility for growth?
And yes internals are delightful. I had two in one week :/ the first sonographer was sh!t and it was do uncomfortable but my OB was great and I barely felt it. Wow that sounds like I have a huge vagina!! Lol
Michelle - I had a scan with my OB two weeks ago and all looked clear. I was meant to go yesterday for check up but it was DS1 birthday and I had so much to do (OB is two hours away so not just a quick trip) he's happy for me to get hcg levels tested at my GP and if they are still not dropping then I will go and see him. It's awful having it dragged out, why can't it just be over so I can move on? I'm sure you felt the same with your d&c's.
I'm pretty sure my levels are dropping since yesterday's test was quite faint, even using FMU.
