    The secret is to keep stepping back and looking at your tree to make sure it looks even- no gaping holes or overcrowded branches. Smaller ornaments at the top with larger ones at the bottom obviously. We try to never place two of the same decoration side by side on the tree. I try to use a mix of baubles & ornaments to give the tree a contrasting look.

    Small fiber optic tree on the computer desk this year as ds is almost 2 and likes to destroy things.. Already had to fix it 3 times and its only been up since yesterday! Next year the big beautiful tree will be up hopefully
