Nattie - Dr M did the HLA & DQ alpha etc tests in Australia through Red Cross & took 2 weeks. Cost $65 each. It didnt include the other Chicago tests & he hasnt mentioned them. It's worth asking him about it. I'm yet to have a endo biopsy for CD57 - but I gather the treatment would be similar??

Good suggestion, SD, it is good to make an appointment while waiting for the results to come back. I made an appointment with Dr. M today. It took few tries to get someone on the phone. Wow...the consult fee is quite expensive as compared to what I paid for my FS. Anyway, I don't think my FS order CD 56 and CD 57 BT, can't see it on the form. But there are so many of them on the list and one might be it. Is there a medical name for it? Otherwise, I will just wait for Dr. M instruction.

Hmmm....so DS you are suggesting that it is best to do the NK cell biopsy at the same time with endo scratch? This is what my FS suggested on her note in the mail to me. I am just afraid that the result won't be back in time to start the treatment before the transfer if there is an indication of high NK cell. I was in a similar situation for my fresh cycle. An ultrasound few weeks before showing a complex, bloody cyst but then couldn't follow it up because we were on a strict schedule to start the cycle (due to the surgery being scheduled for hubby). Now, FS wants to follow up on that cyst. It probably is harmless but FS just wants to be sure.

Oh that's really interesting about steroids causing insomnia. I have really struggled with getting to sleep last few weeks since started them and just put it down to cycle nerves etc.

so....good news, had fresh embie transfer today. We got out first ever true blast and one early blast put in today. They said there might be a couple of slow ones they'll watch to freeze. Be nice to have backup to not have to do stim again as not sure my ovaries will calm down for awhile. I'm still swollen and distended and starting to feel bit woozy so bunkering down at serviced apartment but if I get sharp pains again will just leg it straight to hospital. Wish DH been here this week. Really don't want to fly bak on Wed...

preg test on 6 Feb. praying like hell these take and don't put me back in hospital. But like we all feel on this board, worth all the pain!

Hello e everyone ...

Hope you all are doing well. I'm so depressed today. Thinking that when we'll get our baby. My mind is not stop thinking today and having so many questions that did dr. M had a look at all my result? Am I missing any test?? I only had immune blood test with dr. M , all other test been done by my FS. When I saw dr. M first time I have gave him all my reports result. He just flicked through it & ask me what problem I have. I know dr. M is the best but you guys will understand my worry 😭. Very depressed today 😭😭😭

Hi Pihu its normal to worry but don't be depressed I am in a similar position. When I went to see dr M I even summarised my history and he didn't read it, he just asked his questions but seemed pretty thorough. I have my plan of what we are going to do but then I freaked out that I didn't ask for some extra tests and now have to call to find out lol.

I think all doctors are the same we just have to keep educating ourselves to as the right questions.
